How do I set up my Social Listening tool?

There are two stages to setting up the Social Listening tool. First, we create a group of tools for you and place them in your Azure account. Next, there are some steps that you need to go through to configure the tools. There are two stages to setting up the Social Listening tool. First, we create a group of tools for you and place them in your Azure account. Next, there are some steps that you need to go through to configure the tools. Setup email alerts

*If you use G Suite instead of Microsoft 365 for your emails, follow the steps in this guide instead.

  1. Log in to the the Microsoft Azure portal
  2. Type SocialListening-checkText into the search bar and click on it.
  3. Click on Edit in the list of actions across the top or Logic app designer in the side bar
  4. Click on Flag negative or inappropriate content to expand the section. You will now see two sections ‘If true’ and ‘If false’
  5. Click on Connections
  6. Click on the exclamation symbol in a circle
  7. Log into the account you want to send emails from
  8. Click Cancel
  9. Change the To email address from qa@nightingalehq.ai to whoever will need alerts when there are problems
  10. Click Save

Setup twitter listener

  1. Type SocialListening-listenToTwitter into the search bar and click on it.
  2. Click on Edit in the list of actions across the top or Logic app designer in the side bar
  3. Click on Connections
  4. Click on the exclamation symbol in a circle
  5. Log into twitter with your Twitter account (if you don’t want to retweet things from your business account) or from your company Twitter account (if you want to retweet nice positive things automagically!) and authorise the app
  6. Click Cancel
  7. Insert your twitter handle .e.g. @NightingaleHQai or any valid search query (use Twitter’s search to help you write it) into the Search text that will have a placeholder value of ‘YourBusinessHandleHere’. See this post for advanced search options.
  8. Click Save

Don’t want to retweet positive mentions automatically?

  1. Click on Ignore retweets and send tweets to text analysis and image processing
  2. Click on the three dots on the grey If tweet is very positive, retweet it box
  3. Click Delete
  4. Click Save
